Joseph Martinez has represented thousands of clients and tried hundreds of cases. His comprehensive representation includes conducting discovery; taking depositions; responding to pleadings; drafting, filing, and arguing motions; conducting jury selection; trying bench and jury trials in juvenile, misdemeanor and felony courts; negotiating plea agreements; presenting sentence mitigation; drafting, filing and arguing appellant briefs.
Since becoming a practicing member of the Florida Bar in April 2000, Mr. Martinez has founded and acted as President for a West Tampa criminal defense law firm, and he is presently acting as a special liaison to the bench and bar associations for Galewski Law Group, P.A.
Qualifications
Joseph Martinez holds a Juris Doctorate from the Levin College of Law at the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with honors, from the University of Florida.
